Jewel Ann Ricketts
May 4, 1953 – February 16, 2012

Jewel Ann Ricketts, 58, of Lucama died Thursday.  A memorial service will be conducted 6 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Rev. Matt Horne, Pastor and friend, will officiate.
 
The family will receive friends Saturday after the service at the funeral home and other times at 5674 Scott Church Road, Lucama.

Jewel is survived by her husband, Kenny Ricketts; daughters, Vanessa Smith and husband, Tracy and Angela Such and partner, Amanda all of Lucama; step-daughters, Angela Ricketts and partner, Rodney of Zanesville, Ohio and Amber Ricketts and partner, Harvey of Wilson; step-son, Tony Ricketts and wife, Lori of Lucama; sisters, Linda Britt and husband, Willie of Smithfield, Tootsie Lucas of Wilson and Jackie Creech and husband, Donnie of Shoe Hill.  Jewel also has ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Game and Doris Overman Game.
