Clifton Nathaniel Ferrell January 20, 1926 – March 5, 2012
Clifton Nathaniel Ferrell, 86, of Black Creek passed away Monday. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Black Creek Town Cemetery. The Rev. Rani Woodrow will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was well loved by his neighbors, friends and family. He will be missed and remembered. Clifton drove for over forty-five years and over four million miles without an accident for Thurston Motor Lines.
Mr. Ferrell is survived by his daughters, Penny Thorne and husband Charles Ray, Annette Franks and husband Elton, both of Black Creek; sons, Anderson Ferrell and partner Dirk, Ron Ferrell and wife Beth, both of Macclesfield; granddaughters April Nesbit and husband Harry, Dr. Sarah Ferrell Weeks and husband Greg; grandsons, Nathan Ferrell, Alex Franks, David Thorne and wife, Dana and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Pittman Ferrell; son, Donnie Ferrell and parents, Anderson and Lela Capps Ferrell.
