Melissa Armstrong Biggs
November 20, 1964 – March 14, 2012

Melissa Armstrong Biggs, 47, of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Chapel Original FWB Church, 10748 Bissette Road, Middlesex, NC.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex, NC.  The Rev. Rudy Owens will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson NC.

Music and singing for the Lord played a very important part in Melissa’s life.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Mrs. Biggs is survived by her husband, David L. Biggs; daughters, Avynne Biggs and Jessica Biggs both of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; mother, Belma Armstrong of Middlesex; sister, Sharon Seward of Charlotte, NC and her brother, Robert Armstrong Jr. of Middlesex.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Armstrong.
