John Thomas Amerson
March 16, 1959 – March 30, 2012

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

John Thomas Amerson, 53, of Wilson passed away Friday.  The family will receive friends 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Private graveside service will be held for the family at a later time.

Johnny was a loving son, father, brother and friend to all.  Thank you to all who helped in the last four years following his accident.

Johnny is survived by his mother, Magdalene Amerson of Wilson; daughter, Hope Amerson Mansfield and her husband, Jeremy of Elm City; sister, Becky Baker and her husband, Danny of Elm City; brother, Michael Amerson of Wilson; several nieces and nephews, Cathy Williford special friend and ex-wife.

 He was preceded in death by his father Larry Mike Amerson and his wife, Janice Faye Jones Amerson.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choice.
