Warren Basco Lewis, Sr.
December 8, 1922 – April 22, 2012

Warren Basco Lewis, Sr., 89, of Middlesex passed away on Sunday.  Funeral services will be conducted 6 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Bob Rose will officiate.  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex. 

The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and other times at the home.

Basco is survived by his wife, Louise B. Lewis; sons, Warren B. Lewis, Jr. and wife, Ann and Carlton B. Lewis, Sr. and wife, Debra all of Middlesex; a granddaughter, Shannon Bailey Lewis of Middlesex; two great-granddaughters, Lauren Bailey Lewis and Ashley Nichole Lewis both of Middlesex; a great-grandson, Preston Scott Lewis of Wendell; one sister, Jarada Collins of Zebulon; one brother, Carroll Lewis of Windsor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Hough Lewis; grandsons, Carlton B. Lewis, Jr. and Warren B. Lewis III; parents, Millon Basco Lewis and Jarada Finch Lewis.
