Charles William Barefoot
December 30, 1927 – April 22, 2012

Charles William “Bill” Barefoot, 84, of Wilson passed away Sunday surrounded by his family.  Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will follow In Maplewood Cemetery.  Dr. Doug Murray will officiate.

The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 1210 Brookside Drive.

“Bill” is survived by his daughter, Carol Barefoot Dixon and husband, Joseph of Beaufort; his son, David Charles Barefoot and wife, Teresa of Wilson; two granddaughters, Joy Barefoot Aldrich and husband, Matt of Memphis, TN and Kara Barefoot Varnell and husband, Caleb of Lynchburg, VA; four grandsons, Jeffery, Christopher and Caleb Barefoot of Wilson and Will Dixon of Beaufort; one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Aldrich of Memphis TN and one brother, E.B. Barefoot, Jr. of Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Robinson Barefoot; two sisters and two brothers.
