Jodie Baker November 28, 1945 – January 10, 2018 Jodie Baker, 72, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Jodie is survived by his daughters, Callie Inez Baker of Wilson, and Janet Sue Lloyd of Wilson; his sons, Jodie Baker, Jr. of Kenly, Glennwood Ralph Baker of Stantonsburg, Luther Willie Baker of Lucama, and Dwight Thomas Baker of Lucama; his grandchildren, Callie Elizabeth Baker, Jodie Baker III, Angel Leigh Baker, Betty Sue Baker, Douglas Ralph Baker, Laney Baker, Matthew Dwight Baker, Joey Thomas Baker, Jessie Brandon Baker, and Amberly Nicole Baker; sister, Julia Evans of Buckhorn, and his brothers, Frank Baker of Wilson, Charles Baker of Lucama, Donald Baker of Lucama, and Thomas Baker of Lucama.
