Kent Gay September 4, 1953 – December 28, 2016 Gregory Kent Gay, 63, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Kent is survived by his wife Patricia “Tris” Hondros Gay; sons, Spencer Gay of Fayetteville, Bryant Gay and Seth Gay of Wilson; his grandsons, Taylor Gay of the home, Tyson and Tate Gay of Lucama: sister, Rhonda Gay Abate and husband, Tony of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Randy Hondros and wife, Pat of Atlantic Beach; sister-in-law Carla Skipper and husband, Stuart of Virginia; nephew, Dustin Hawley; several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lorraine Gay; niece, Brandy Hawley.
