Mildred Smith April 23, 1926 – May 29, 2017 Mildred Smith, 91, of Wilson passed away Monday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Unity FWB, Wilson. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Unity FWB Church, 2200 Downing Street, NW, Wilson, North Carolina. Mildred is survived by son, Wayne Smith of Wilson; grandson, Kevin Smith and wife, Michelle of Wilson; great-grandson, Tyler Smith of Wilson; sister, Rebecca Lane of Saratoga; sister-in-law, Betty Smith of Wilson; niece, Carol Hinnant and husband, Ken of Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy A. Smith; brothers, Jack and Willie Webb. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to Unity FWB Church, P.O. Box 7201, Wilson, NC 27895.
