Agnes Whitley Hill

Agnes Whitley Hill, 63, of Wilson, passed away Tuesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rev. Darrell Bowles will officiate. Family will Receive friends immediately following service and at other times at the family home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Christy Petway of Smithfield; son, Michael “Bo” Hill of Wilson; grandchildren, Trevor and Connor Limper; father, James Earl Whitley of Wilson; sisters, Denise Whitley of Wilson and Connie Ballance of Bailey; brother-in-law, Bobby Ballance of Sims; nieces and their families, Lucy Hooper with husband, Rich and son, Isaac as well as Whitley Holloman and husband, Jeff and son, Hunter. She is also survived by her beloved fur babies, Brownie, Beadlocks and T.C.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Whitley and brother, James Carl Whitley.

Flowers are welcome, as well as memorials in Agnes’s name to the Horne’s United Methodist Church Flourish Ministry, 145 Hornes Church Road, Wilson, North Carolina, 27896.
