Alice Nichols Holley

Alice Nichols Holley May 14, 1932 – May 14, 2021 Alice Nichols Holley, 89, of Wilson passed away Friday, on her birthday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Keith Cobb will officiate. Alice loved cooking, tending to her flowers, playing bridge with her wonderful friends, and reading her Bible, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who will remember her. Alice is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lineberger and husband, John of Wilson; son, Robert Lee Holley, Jr.; grandchildren, Kelsey Lineberger of Wilmington and Scott Lineberger and wife, Kelly of Wilson; four great-grandchildren, and her brother, Carroll D. Nichols and wife, Barbara of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Holley; parents, Claude and Alice Deans Nichols, and her brother, William B. Nichols.
