Austin Fisher

Austin Fisher, 90, of Wilson, passed away Friday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in Buckhorn Cemetery, Hwy 42, Kenly. Rev. Charles Thompson will officiate. 

Austin will be missed. 

Austin is survived by his daughters, Dolly Ellington, and Jackie Washburn; son, Danny Chappel and his sisters, Betty Smith, Nellie Whitley, Wynell Thomas, Wanda Turner, and Patsy Hinesley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cora Fisher; sisters, Margaret Mayo, and Wilma Askew, and his brother, C.A. Fisher.
