Barbara Matthews Ferrell

Barbara Ann Matthews Ferrell, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 21.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, NC. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash Street N, Wilson, NC.  Reverend Ray Barnhill will officiate.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Terre Ferrell; sons, Eric Ferrell and wife, Tina; Gary Ferrell and wife, Tammy; granddaughters, Megan London, Lauren Jackson and husband, Jonathan; Autumn Vasquez and husband, Adrian; grandsons, Brett Lucas and wife, Chelsea; Seth Ferrell and wife, Ashton; great-granddaughters, Avery Kate London and Madelyn Brooke Lucas; great-grandsons, Grayson and Raleigh Ferrell, and Jackson Ian Lucas; sister, Louise Eatman and husband, James; brother, Ted Matthews and wife, Nancy; sister-in-law, Sheila Matthews; and special friend, Billy Vick.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Deland Eric Ferrell; parents, Julian David Matthews and Ethelyne Daniels Matthews; and brother, Julian David Matthews, Jr.
