Bessie Pennington deKeyzer November 29, 1929 – May 19, 2020 Bessie Pennington deKeyzer, 90 of Wilson passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Joe Shakour will officiate. Friends are welcomed to come by Joyner’s Funeral Home during regular business hours to pay their respect to Bessie and the family will receive friends after the interment. Bessie is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Thompson; granddaughters, Laura Bartholomew and Jammie Lynn Thompson; grandson, Randall Scott Bass and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Randall deKeyzer; daughter, Graylette deKeyzer; two sisters and five brothers.
