Betty Ann Davis

Betty Ann Davis, 91, of Wilson passed away Monday, October 19, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in Stantonsburg Town Cemetery, Stantonsburg. Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, October 20, 2026, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Betty was a very sweet and nice to everyone she met, she never met a stranger. She was an avid Duke Fan, and her heart belonged to her family whom she loved dearly and deeply.

Betty is survived by her loving and faithful husband of seventy-four years, Billy Davis; son, Ronnie Davis and wife, Janice; grandsons, Anthony Davis and Theresa and Brandon Davis and wife, Brittany; great-granddaughters, Katelyn Brickhouse and husband, Copeland and Peyton Davis; great-grandsons, Austin Davis, Tanner Pierce, Colt Pierce and Mason Davis, and great-great grandson, Kaiden Davis; sister, Diane Pridgen and husband, Randy and her sister-in-law, Shirley Goff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Matthews and Eunice Matthews Ferrell; granddaughter, Mindy Pierce and two brothers and two sisters.
