Betty Jean Watson

Betty Jean Watson, 64, of Wilson passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Pastor Woody Parrish will officiate.

 The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

 Betty Jean is survived by her loving husband of forty-one years, Douglas Timothy Watson; sons, Craig Watson, and Brian Watson and wife, Brittney; granddaughter, Caroline Watson; sisters, Mary Lou Carter, and Helen Deans and husband, Dick; brother, Charles Moss; sister-in-law, Wendy Boykin and husband, Jeff; niece, Amy Carter and a host of niece, nephews, and extended family members, and her two fur babies, Coco and Jack.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernell and Alma Moss; sister, Sandra Blalock, and her brother, Jerry Moss.
