Beulah Hawley Bain

Beulah Hawley Bain, 98, of Wilson passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2000 Ruann Drive SW, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Rev. John Horrell will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2 – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Beulah was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was a faithful servant with Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She has been a resident of the Clayton Rehab where she lived for eighteen years. Beulah was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Beulah is survived by her son, Joseph “Joe” Ray Bain of Clayton; granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Bain of Selma; grandsons, John Allen Thorne and wife, Kathy of Winston Salem, Jeffrey Thorne and wife, Kim of Stuart, Florida, Matthew Joseph Bain of Clayton, Andrew Tyler Bain of Clayton, Tanner Craig Bain of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Susannah Ellen Thorne, Joshua Issac Thorne, Jacob Graham Thorne, Jayden Matthew Bain, Charli Rae Bain, Joseph Davis Bain, Kullen Bain Wheeler, and Scarlett Leigh Harriott; and great-great-grandchild, Benjamin Bain Thorne.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Lennis Bain, Jr.; daughter, Faith Darlene Thorne; parents, Arthur and Lou Cora Hawley and her brothers, Junior Hawley, Selby Hawley, and Ray Hawley.
