Billy Ray Benton

Billy Ray Benton, 85 of Fremont passed away Friday, September 13, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2024, in Eureka Cemetery, Eureka. Pastor Mark Sauls will officiate.

 Billy Ray was a truck driver, and he loved to tinker on lawn mowers. He was a faithful husband, and beloved step-father. Billy Ray will be greatly missed.

 Billy Ray is survived by his loving wife, Joyce S. Benton; step-son, Marty Barnes and wife, Tonia; several friends and family; his beloved dog, Buffy and his daughter, Connie Gabrell.

 He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Benton; parents, Johnny and Bernice Benton; sister, Sara Hales and his brother, Shelton Benton.
