Billy Eugene Eason September 26, 1940 – November 10, 2020 Billy Eugene Eason, 80 of Lucama passed away Tuesday. His funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning in Black Creek Town Cemetery. The Rev. Walt Tyndall will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Jeaneen and James Lucas. Billy is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Joyce “Sue” Gates Bartlett Eason; daughters, Belinda Eason Speight and husband, Todd of Fuquay Varina and Cindy Eason Baker and husband, Jerry of Coats; step-daughter, Jeaneen Bartlett Lucas and husband, James of Wilson; step-son, Marty Bartlett and Hope of Black Creek; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Eason Wood.
