Brenda Flowers

Brenda Marie Flowers, age 79, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1946, in Wake County to the late Callie Clyde Flowers and Beatrice Pope Flowers. In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services are planned.

Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was defined by her kindness and compassion, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Toby L. Mooring and wife, Lisa; her sister, Ruth F. Pearce and Billy; twelve grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Donald W. Flowers and David H. Mooring; her brother, John C. Flowers; and her sisters, Betsy A. Finch and Clarene F. Goff.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Gentiva Hospice and extends special gratitude to Ann Durham for her compassionate care.
