Brenda Sue Moore Landry December 4, 1958 – September 23, 2021 Brenda Sue Moore Landry, 62 of Wilson passed away peacefully Thursday, September 23, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. David Barnes will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 4- 5:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Sue was a lively person with many years of employment in the Wilson Tobacco Service with RB Strader Contractors. She always carried around a bigger than life personality that caused everyone to be apart of her day. Sue had many travels throughout her life and being with family was one of her most valued treasures. She loved all her family from her immediate family to her distant cousins and aunts. Brenda Sue was born on December 4, 1958, to Shelby Moore and the late Bobby D. Moore. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Glenn Moore. She is survived by her husband, Pete Landry; mother, Shelby Moore of the home; sister, Terry Lynn Silverthorne and husband, David; brothers, Ricky Moore, and John Wayne Moore; nieces, Tracy Strickland, and Kayla Moore; nephews, Micheal Edward Strickland and wife, Dee Strickland, Wayne Strickland and wife, Jaime Strickland, Rickey Lee Moore, Jr. and wife, Mechille, Shawn Moore, Rickey Taylor Moore and wife, Christina Griffith; great nieces, Lindsey Simmons and husband, Anthony, Cassie Floars, Haley Floars, Angel Strickland, Gracie Moore, Destiny Moore and Aubrey Moore; great nephews, Adam Strickland, Ryan Strickland, Justin Strickland, Micheal Strickland, Jr., Rickey Taylor, Jr., and Hunter Moore; great-great niece, Paisley Simmons; great-great nephew, Connor Capps, and a one of a kind dog, Blaze!
