Brian Kelly Boone

Brian Kelly Boone, 57, of Wilson passed away Monday, August 31, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2026  in Black Creek Town Cemetery, Black Creek. Pastor Stuart Harmon will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at New Beginning Free Will Baptist Church, 5607 Gardners School Road, Elm City.

Brian is survived by his brothers, Michael Whitley and Ricky Whitley; uncles, Jimmy Boone and wife, Bunnie and William Boone and wife, Sally; aunt, Virginia Jenkins and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Whitley; father, Kaddie Grimsley; step-father, Connie Whitley; uncle, Elton Ray Boone and aunt, Marie Ayscue.
