Carl Alvin Nowell, 92 of Wilson passed away Wednesday.

Carl is survived by his wife, Frances Nowell; daughters, Maurine Nowell Brown and husband, Greg, and Anna Jane Nowell Murray and husband, Jim; sons, Maurice Nowell and wife, Olga, and Carl Nowell Jr.; grandchildren, Jenna Lynn Murray, Rachel Brown, Ruth Ann Murray, and J.C. Murray, and his first cousin, Mary Helen Schaubhuth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lessie Nowell, and his brother, William Baxter “Billy” Nowell, Jr.
