Charles Dewey Earp

Charles Dewey Earp, 63 of Bailey passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024.   Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, with the family receiving friends immediately following at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Rev. Walt Tyndall will officiate.

Charles was a wonderful person, with a kind heart that loved the simple things in life.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.  Charles will be greatly missed and thought of often with loving memories.

Charles is survived by his son, Brandon Charles Earp; grandson, Blayden Wilkins; sister, Linda Herron of Bailey; brother, Kevin Earp and wife, Belinda of Clayton; niece, Blythe Roth and great-nieces, Novalie Roth and Soleia Roth all of Asheville; a host of extended family members from the Earp’s and Denton’s, and his work family of forty-four years with Edwards, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hubert and Annie-Lee Earp.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to family, friends, Keith Stone and the Nash County Sherriff’s Department and first responders along with the entire community of Bailey for their support during this time.
