Charles Wayne Pierce, Jr.

Charles Wayne Pierce, Jr., 63, of Elm City passed away Monday, September 15, 2025. The family will have a special gathering of friends and family on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12 – 2 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Wayne was a graduate of UNC and he was an avid fan of the Tarheels with this being said, the family has requested his friends to wear Carolina blue to his gathering.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Alice Pierce; daughter, Becca Finley and husband, Eric of Forest, Virginia and his son, Kaden Lebray of Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Sharon Pierce.
