Claire Whitley Davis

Claire Whitley Davis, 89, of Wilson, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Garland Driver will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10 – 10:45 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Claire is survived by her daughter, Amanda Johnson and husband, Jerry of Wilson; grandsons, Billy Brockman of Wilson and Daniel Brockman and wife, Catherine of Godfrey, Illinois; great-grandsons, Judah Brockman and Davis Brockman; sister, Mildred Baker and her brother, Donald Whitley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Billy R. Davis; daughter, Lindy Carol Davis; parents, Charlie and Rosa Lee Whitley; sisters, Elsie Pittman and Rose Ward and her brothers, Archie Whitley and Charlie Whitley.
