Clairene Boykin

Clairene Boykin of Middlesex passed away at home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 63. 

Clairene was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her. She enjoyed listening to country music, coloring intricate pictures, crocheting blankets, and planting beautiful flower gardens. Over the years, Clairene always loved having pets. She absolutely adored her dog, Bella, and was always ready to put her in her buggy and head to the beach, the farmer’s market, or even a car show with her husband, Steve. She lived a quiet life in the country and spent her days watching the hummingbirds dance around her windows while listening to the soft wind in the trees.

She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Steve Boykin; twin sons, Trent and Trevor Boykin, and her brother, Larry Mullins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Roberson Benton; sister, Darlene Pecina, and her brother, Kelvin Mullins.

A private ceremony will be held at the family’s cemetery.
