Claude Edward Walston

Claude Edward Walston August 12, 1946 – November 27, 2020 Claude Edward Walston, 74 of Lucama passed away on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. Timothy Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 5:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Claude loved to ride his bicycle and he was a loving brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Claude is survived by his sisters, Joyce Walston and Lynda Mooring and husband, Bobby; niece, Deena Mellons; nephews, Todd O’Neal and Mark Walston and his great-niece, Michele Winstead and her children, Riley and Jayden. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bill and Cleo Belle McKeel Walston and his brother, William Walston.
