Connie Bray Cooper

Connie B. Cooper, 64 of Wilson passed away at home on Monday, June 19, 2023.  A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. 

The family will receive friends Thursday evening 5 – 5:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Connie is survived by her husband, Jerry Cooper; daughters, Kelly Whitley Uzzle and husband, Paul of Clayton, and Beth Whitley Lamm and husband, Joey of Elm City; step daughter, Lynne Cooper of Wilson; step-son, Alan Cooper of Bailey; grandchildren, Gage Long, Bren Long, Asher Uzzle, Ryleigh Lamm, and Ryder Lamm;  sister, Sherry Bissette of Wilson; brother, Tommy Davis of Wilson, and several lifelong friends and her loyal guard dog, Lil Bit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearson “Doc” Bissette and Bettie Bissette, and several brothers.
