Connie Parker October 15, 1969 – March 6, 2021 Connie “Rooster” Parker, 51 of Elm City passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Queen Anne Cemetery, Fountain. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Connie is survived by his mother, Alice Faye P. Mozingo of the home; nieces and nephews, Christiana Mozingo, Damian Best, Johnathan Mozingo of the home; sisters, Dana Vargas and husband, Carlos of Wilson and Connie Ader and husband, David of Louisiana; brother, Johnny Mozingo and wife, Heather of Elm City; nieces and nephews, Adriana and Brianna Vargas, Clint Connor, Jessica Bailee, Alyssa Dunn, Bobby “Little Man” Dunn, Jr., Declyn Whitley, and Jayden Mozingo and his best friend, Janel Outlaw and his Goddaughter, Araya Sunshine Outlaw.
