Cynthia "Cindy" Hawley

Cynthia “Cindy” Hawley, 55, of Kenly went to join the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2025. In 1989, she made Wilson then Kenly her home. Cindy was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church in Fremont and worked at Truist (BB&T) for twenty-five years. She was a devoted wife and friend to many.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Gabby Rose (fur baby); brother, James Albritton; mother-in-law, Jane Hawley Lamm; sisters-in-law, Dawn Milford and husband, Rodney, Dana Harrell and husband, Norman and many loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and her sister by choice, Susan Heath and family.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Harold Dean Hawley; mama and daddy, Gloria Dee and Jimmy Albritton and daddy-in-law, Harold Hawley.

By Cindy’s request she wants people to know that she passed away with Acute Aortic Dissection, because if you knew Cindy she always wondered how someone passed.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 400 East Main Street, Fremont with a reception following the service. Cindy would love for people to come as they are and to wear bright colors. The family will also be receiving friends at other times at the home of Jane Hawley.
