Cynthia Leigh Toney Edwards

Cynthia Leigh Toney Edwards, 59, passed away on Thursday, November 2.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6 at 2:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Reverend Wayne Whitley will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 6 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home and at other times at the family home, 2288 Biltmore Road, Spring Hope.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Edwards; son, Christopher Toney and fiancé, Kara; sister, Jeanette Foy and husband, Neal; and grandsons, Nickolas Toney, Isaiah Toney, and David Toney.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Toney and Linda "Faye"  Whitley Murray; and her sister, Lisa Whitley Hobgood.
