Cynthia Heiman Mitchell

Cynthia Heiman Mitchell, 71 of Elm City passed away Sunday.  Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6: oo – 8:00 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William “Butch” Glenn Mitchell of the home; Son, Jeffrey Dean Mitchell and wife Elise of Elm City; grandson Tyler Mitchell of Greenville and her fur baby Kahleesi.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernadette Ortner Heiman.

Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be remembered by her son as an amazing artist who loved wood carving with the Wilson Wood Carvers and making pottery at Dan Finch Pottery.
