Danny Keith Mooring

Danny Keith Mooring, 69, of Wilson passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 3 p.m. in Cedar Grove, Elm City. Brother Bobby Owens will officiate.

Danny was known for his sense of humor. He was always entertaining and trying to make people laugh. He loved to hunt and fish. Danny had a successful career in car sales. Even after retirement he loved to hang out with his second family including Adam and Brett at Quality Pre-Owned, Inc.

Danny is survived by his son, Blake Mooring; grandson, Blake Mooring, Jr.; brother, Jeff Mooring and wife, Teresa; nephews, Ryan Mooring, Mitchell Mooring, and Ridge Mooring and his uncle, Thomas Jenkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Mildred Mooring.
