Dara Daniell Frieden

Dara Danielle Amerson Frieden, 41 of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A celebration of life will be held at at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 13 at Victory Life Church, 4129 US 301 S, Wilson. Senior Paster Winston J. Author will officiate.

Dara was a spiritual ladybug, with a nickname Buttercup. She loved to sing, dance, be goofy, and was always ready to offer a hug or smile. Dara loved butterflies and she loved to help the elderly. Dara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many – fly high baby girl.

Dara is survived by her mother, Rhonda Pate Amerson; brother, Thomas Daniel Amerson; her children, Cameron Frieden, Tabitha Frieden, and Thomas Frieden; grandchild, Oliver; favorite niece, Olivia G. Amerson; godmother, “Mama Dee” Audrey Edmundson; best friend, Rhonda Reed; uncle, Fred Robin Pate, who she loved and respected, and lots of loving, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Amerson, and her grandparents, James and Ann Amerson and Laurene and Fred Jackson Pate.

Flowers are welcomed and when the service is over, they will be shared with the local nursing homes for the elderly to enjoy per the wishes of Dara. Flowers to be sent to Victory Life Church, 4129 US 301 S, Wilson, North Carolina 27893 or the funeral home at the time of service.
