David Lee Blackston

David Lee Blackston, age 67, born on June 11, 1955, of Wilson, North Carolina sadly passed away on August 7, 2022.

David is survived by his sons Wadell Blackston (Christine) Duan Blackston, David Blackston Jr. (Iesha), daughters Tonya Winfree (Mark), Felecia Blackston-Johnson (Curtis), Temeka Webb, Latashia Burgess (Bobby), brothers Bobby Funderburke Sr. (Renee), Owen Funderburke III, Reese Funderburke, sisters Crystal Brown (Marcus), Juanita Johnson and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. David was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend to all.

 He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Funderburke.

 A Memorial Service will be held at Joyner’s Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Stephen Winstead will officiate.
