David Edward Webb

David Edward Webb, 75, of Lucama passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Upper Black Creek Cemetery, Kenly. Rev. Jim Hare will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 18, 2026, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

David is survived by his daughter, Melissa Batts and husband, Ben; grandsons, Lewis Batts and Ryan Batts; sister, Mary Sue Horne and husband, Bennie Ray, brothers, Randy Webb, and Ronnie Webb and wife, Debbie.

He was preceded in death by his wife over forty years, Louise Webb; parents, John Wesley and Roxie Pate Webb; sisters, Dorothy Brown, Peggy Wheeler, and Linda Farmer, and his brothers, John Alvin Webb, Donnie Webb, and James “J.W.” Wesley Webb.
