Deborah Sue Pappas

Deborah Sue Pappas December 29, 1955 – August 12, 2020 Deborah Sue Pappas, 64 crossed over into the promised land, while at home with her family on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Deborah had a warm, kind heart and a sense of humor that gained her no enemies only friends. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her sister, Libby Turner; brother, John Turner and wife Patti; niece, Taylor Byrd and husband, Caleb; great nephew, Adrian Byrd, and nephew, David Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Louis” Pappas; parents, Oscar Lee and Betty Turner and her grandparents, Oscar Dean and Leona Turner. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church, 1481 Beechwood Drive, Rocky Mount. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, 350 N 1st Street, Nashville. Due to the limited seating at the church because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the family asks that you watch the service by way of livestream via the web. Go to cornerstoneibc.com and click on media.
