Derrick Paul Guddat

Derrick Paul Guddat, 56 of Kenly passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

Derrick loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger; he would stop and help anyone. Derrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, and making memories with his family.

Derrick is survived by his wife of 29 years, Becky. Step- daughter, Jessica Allen and Husband Jay of Tarboro; Step-son, Mark Winstead and Wife Bridgette of Kenly; Father, Paul Guddat and Wife Tish of Raleigh; Brother, Matt Guddat and Wife Angie of Raleigh; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Wellsboro Pennsylvania.

Derrick is preceded in death by his mother, Ruthann Carleton Guddat; Maternal Grandparents, George and Wilda Carleton; Paternal Grandparent, Paul and Annamae Guddat.

A celebration of life will be held on April 18, 2026 at 11 in the morning at Restoration Purpose Church, 5200 264 alt in Bailey, NC 27807.
