Donald Joe Best October 13, 1938 – August 5, 2020 Donald Joe Best, 81 of Wilson passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Chris Greenwood will officiate. Donald is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Lillian Turnage Best of the home; sisters, Peggy Best Barnes and Ruth Best Whitley both of Lucama; brothers, Kermit Best and wife, Evelyn of Wilson, Harold Best and wife, Alice of Wilson, David Ricky Best and wife, Gwen of Winterville and Wilbert Best of Bailey and several nieces and nephews.
