Donald Sebastian Johnson

Donald Sebastian Johnson, 85 of Crocker’s Nub Community passed away Saturday. His funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery. Rev. David West will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Donald was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, and granddaddy. The love of his life was his loving wife, Betty Jean Johnson of sixty-two and half years. He Also loved his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Donald is survived by his sons, Gregory Johnson and wife, Susan of Wilson, and Roger Johnson and wife, Becky of Middlesex; granddaughters, Tabitha Johnson Pate and husband, David of Kenly, and Meghan Johnson Brown and husband, Michael of Middlesex; grandsons, Adam Johnson and partner, Molly Phillips of Clayton, and David Johnson and wife, Amber of Cary; great-grandchildren, Tinsley Summer Pate of Kenly, and Aubrey Kate Brown of Middlesex; sister, Arlene Woodard and husband, Joe of Kenly, and his brothers, Garry Johnson and wife, Jane of Middlesex, and Larry Johnson and wife, Patsy of Middlesex.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Johnson, and his parents, Sebastian and Ella Buice Johnson
