Donald Cecil Smith April 16, 1957 – July 13, 2020 Donald Cecil Smith, 63 of Wilson passed away Monday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Michael Barbour will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Donald served his country with honor and pride with the Army Intelligence Department for eight years. Donald is survived by his nieces, Danielle Barbour of Selma and Erin Smith of Macclesfield; his brother, Carl Stanley Smith, Jr. and wife, Robin of Wilson and many loving family members.
