Donnie Davis April 1, 1942 – July 18, 2019 Donnie Davis, 77, of Sims passed away Thursday. His funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25th, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the foyer of the funeral home. Donnie is survived by his special friend, Nancy Bunn; son, Joe Davis of Wilson; grandchildren, Zachary Davis and wife, Heather of Wilson, Daniel Davis and wife, Danielle, James Davis, Jeremiah Davis and wife, Baileigh all of Newton Grove, Megan Milam of Red Oak, Magion Baker of Benson, Jeffrey Herring of Four Oaks, Michelle Kitchen and husband, Adam of Wilson, Michael Wilson of Sims, Richard Wilson and wife, Ashley of Wilson and Matthew Wilson and wife, Ashley of Sims; twenty-three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Davis and a sister, Thelma Bissette. Flowers are welcome but please consider donations towards final expenses.
