Donnie Wayne Raper

Donnie Wayne Raper of Lucama passed away Tuesday, June 30. To honor Donnie Raper's wishes, there will be a private ceremony at a future date.

Donnie is survived by his daughter by marriage, Lori Wood, her husband, Barry Wood of Fremont and three grandchildren by marriage, Aaron Wood of Wilson, Victoria Wood of Lucama and Hope Wood of Knightdale; brother-in-law, Jimmy Taylor of Wilson, along with several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Taylor Raper; sister-in-Law, Amy Taylor; father, Will "Jack" Raper and mother, Mildred Raper; brothers, William Raper and Kenneth Raper and his sister, Peggy Tomlinson.

In lieu of flowers, Donnie requested donations go to ASPCA.
