Dorothy "Dotsie" Ann Grimsley Harrell

Dorothy “Dotsie” Ann Grimsley Harrell, 81, of Wilson passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Randy Innes will officiate.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, James “Jay” Preston Harrell, III and wife, Michelle, and Michael Clayton Harrell and wife, Denise; grandsons, J.P. Harrell and wife, Olivia, and Maddux Harrell; granddaughter, Madeline Harrell; step-grandchildren, Brittany and husband, Josh, Taylor and wife, Laine, Laken and Chase, and her great-granddaughters, Emory and Ella.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Flora Grimsley; granddaughter, London Harrell, and her siblings, Mutt, Boodie, Donnie, Swag, Dokey and Jim.
