Dorothy Steadman Powell

Dorothy Steadman Powell, 104, of Wilson, passed away Sunday. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in Maplewood Cemetery.  Pastor Chris Thomas will officiate.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Charles Powell III of Wilson; Rodney Powell and wife, Pauline of Ft. Walt, Florida; grandsons, Aiden Powell of Ft.Walton, Florida and Alex Powell of Winston Salem; granddaughters, Andrea Powell of Alexandria, Virginia, Cameron Powell Lamm and husband, Daniel of Bangkok, Thailand and Collett Powell Hudecek and husband, Brian of Chicago; great grandchildren, Cooper Reilly Hudecek, Isla Collett Hudecek, Brody Ellis Hudecek, Culper “Cully” Cameron Lamm and Whitley Steele Lamm.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles C. Powell and her parents, Bruce and Edna Steadman.
