Douglas Wyatt Hinton

Douglas Wyatt Hinton, 59 of Spring Hope, North Carolina passed away Tuesday.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate.

The family will receive friends and family Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Douglas is survived by his daughter, Christian Victoria H. Watson and husband, Kyle; sons, Forrest Brock Hinton and wife, Ashley, and Garrett Daniel Hinton; grandchildren, Darcy Stokes Watson and Beau Randolph Watson; sister, Amy Elaine Pierce and husband, John; brothers, Gregory Alan Hinton and wife, Monica Drasal-Hinton and Arthur Harris Hinton and wife, Elizabeth, and his caregiver, Ernestine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Mary Bernice Hinton.
