Edward Lee Hamm

March 6, 1955 – January 14, 2022

Edward Lee Hamm, 66, of Bailey, passed away Friday. A funeral service will be held at Joyner’s Funeral Home on January 17, 2022, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Bailey Town Cemetery.

Edward had a unique and happy spirit that always generated smiles and happiness. His spirit will forever be instilled in all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. He never knew a stranger. Edward was kindhearted to everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janet Flora Hamm of the home; sons, Lee Hamm and wife Lindsay of Bailey, Matthew Hamm and wife Haylee of Sims; grandson, Mason Hamm; grandson, Jessie Adkins; granddaughter, Ryleigh Adkins; brothers, Donnie Hamm of Bailey, Michael Hamm of Wilson and Gary Hamm of Bailey and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Baby Ray” and Alice Windham Hamm.
