Emily Anderson Cunningham

Emily Anderson Cunningham passed away on Sunday, April 16.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 19 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home in Wilson, NC.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 11:00 am at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Wilson, NC.  Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson, NC.  Father Paul Castelli will officiate.

Emily is survived by her loving husband, Robert Whitworth Cunningham; sister, Daisy Haywood Anderson; brother, Wade Hampton Anderson; son, Robert Whitworth Cunningham, Jr.; daughters, Leah Hines Cunningham and Jayne Cunningham Langston; granddaughters, Sarah Haywood Langston and Elizabeth “Liza” Holt Langston; grandson, Robert Whitworth Cunningham, III, and wife, Hannah Dawson Cunningham; and great-grandsons, Robert Owen Cunningham and Camden Dawson Cunningham.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents, Wade Hampton Anderson and Emily Wescott Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.
