Ernestine Harrison Glover

Ernestine Harrison Glover, 88, of Bailey passed away Monday, June 2, 2025. A private graveside will be held with Rev. Charles Robl officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 6048 Mt. Pleasant Road, Bailey.

Ernestine was a faithful servant and a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a friend to all that knew her. Ernestine was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Ernestine is survived by her sons, Robert Glover, Jr. and wife, Sheila, and Wade Glover and wife, Kellie; grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Rob Glover and wife, Kaitlin, Meredith Lamm and husband, Jordan, and Payten Fernandez and husband, Jack; great-grandchildren, Anna-Claire Lamm, Harrison Lamm, and Tate Glover, and her brother, Phillip Harrison and wife, Ann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glover, Sr.; parents, John and Betty Harrison; sister, Jannie Castro, and her brothers, Milford, John, Richard, Benny, Dennis, and Jack.

In lieu of flowers please consider memorials in Ernestine memory to Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, North Carolina 27565. The home was very important and dear to Ernestine’s heart, for it was her home.
